The Cougar20-H surveillance robot can detect motion through walls as well as detect the breathing of a stationary person.

Designed by surveillance imaging specialist TiaLinx, the Cougar20-H is intended to provide improved situational awareness to soldiers while keeping them out of danger. The remote-controlled robot travels on caterpillar tracks while the RF scanner mounted on the robot's arm transmits wideband signals that can penetrate concrete walls even at an extended range.

The robot could also be used in the civilian sector, allowing police and firefighters to locate people within buildings.
