This is particularly true when the sample to be analyzed included biological molecules such as proteins or polypeptides. For example, it is common subject a biological sample to a chromatograph technique in order to separate the molecules in the sample. Thereafter, each fraction can be subjected to a subsequent analytical technique such as mass spectrometry in order to obtain additional information. The present invention is a device for transferring samples onto substrates.
